I was born and raised in Birmingham, and later Bromsgrove, where I attended North Bromsgrove High School and Sixth Form. After taking my A-Levels, I attended Worcester College of Technology to study Art & Design Foundation Studies followed by a degree in Product Design at Nottingham Trent University. After working in design and architecture, I decided to train to become a D&T teacher at The University of Gloustershire. I started teaching at The Kingswinford School before moving to Crestwood School as Head of the Design & Technology Department, teaching Design & Technology, Product Design and Engineering Design up to A-Level. I have been an Assistant Headteacher at Crestwood for several years, specialising in Teaching & Learning, CPD and Pupil Premium development. I am focused on helping students get to where they want to be, and extremely proud of my former students who have attended some of the most prestigious universities and completed advanced level apprenticeships.
