Drama KS4

Drama Curriculum Intent.

The intent of drama is to enable pupils to explore. develop and express concepts which will help them make sense of reality.  Students learn to be effective team members, develop confidence as well as how to empathise with others. It intends to teach the students a range of skills such as artistic development, drama and theatre skills, thinking skills, social development and interpersonal skills. 

Drama Core Standards.

In Drama the core standards are to:

 

  • Build upon prior learning to prepare for the GCSE curriculum.

  • Enrichment encouraged through extracurricular.

  • Opportunities to explore history, cultures and issues through a creative medium.

  • Personal growth through collaboration and problem solving.
