The Crestwood House System

 

Every student and staff member at Crestwood School is assigned a house. The house system is a long standing tradition that:

• Creates competition

• Promotes good work and behaviour

• Encourages teamwork

• Provides opportunities to take on responsibilities

• Brings everyone in the school together

 

We have 4 houses; Fire, Ice, Air and Earth. Each house is identified by colour which is displayed on the students ties. As well as regular inter-house competitions and the annual sports day the 4 houses compete in the year long house point competition. Every house point issued to students counts towards the house aggregate, the winning house at the end of the year receives the prestigious Crestwood School House of the Year trophy.
